What would also be interesting would be a list of negotiators for the Paris2015 climate negotiations.

Seem like building both lists would be work. I now send an email to a climate NGO. I am sure they can help me for Germany, but doing that for many countries would quite an effort for one person and well suited for crowd sourcing because it helps to know the local language, organizations and culture.

A list or some sort of petition of scientists and citizen saying they find this important would also be helpful. The tweet now functions a little like that, but is more informal and only few people are on twitter.Victor Venemahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02842816166712285801noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9093436161326155359.post-77000514132348048472015-06-04T23:35:02.327+01:002015-06-04T23:35:02.327+01:00Yvan, to be honest, that will not have much priori...Yvan, to be honest, that will not have much priority. We know that we cannot measure the absolute temperature very accurately. That is why we estimate how much the temperature has changed at a certain location and average that over the globe. That is hard enough.

A single authored paper (signals that either no one else wanted to embarrass himself or the author is overconfident) in an off-topic journal (signals that the author did not want to get a decent review) are clear warning signs that the paper is likely not worth reading.

In the mean time there is an interesting new paper on the global mean temperature. The article of Ars looks pretty nice for fans of homogenization.Victor Venemahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02842816166712285801noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9093436161326155359.post-24500083287093936112015-06-04T18:55:30.088+01:002015-06-04T18:55:30.088+01:00Victor,
Could you comment on this paper:
